Overview
At The Montessori Academy, our curriculum supports children’s inner drives with a structured and richly prepared environment. We combine authentic Montessori pedagogy with Cambridge academic standards to help children thrive intellectually, emotionally, and socially.
Elementary Program (ages 6–12)
- Follows the AMI Montessori curriculum with emphasis on developmental pedagogy and holistic growth.
- Aligned with India’s National Curriculum Framework (NCF) and Cambridge learning objectives.
- Subjects include: English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, and Arts
- Children engage with hands-on materials, choose work independently, and learn in multi-age classrooms (6–9 and 9–12).
- Focus on fostering curiosity, collaboration, concentration, and moral development through meaningful exploration.
Adolescent Program (ages 12–15) (Starts June 2026)
- Designed in alignment with Montessori’s vision for the third plane of development—where adolescents need social purpose and experiential engagement.
- Implements the Cambridge curriculum, leading to Cambridge IGCSE examinations.
- Subjects offered: English, Hindi, Mathematics, History, Geography, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
- Adolescents learn in a community-style environment with graduated responsibility, mentorship, and cross-disciplinary projects.
- This blended model supports academic rigour while empowering students to become self-directed, ethical, and creative learners.
“Education should therefore include the two forms of work, manual and intellectual, for the same person, and thus make it understood that these two kinds of work are complementary and produce a healthy balance.”
— Maria Montessori, From Childhood to Adolescence
